Virus Transduction Service

The goal of the Central Virus Transduction Service is to provide fast, cost-effective and uncomplicated access to virus transduced cell lines.

The Virus Transduction Service offers the packaging and transduction of user-supplied lenti- or retroviral constructs and cell lines as well as the complete S2 project documentation.

Custom generation of expression constructs in our predefined set of fully sequenced lenti- or retroviral expression vectors are available in combination with the Gateway-Shuttle Service.

The Facility authorized and fully equipped for production of small scale lenti- or retroviral particles.

The Virus Transduction Service does not intend to produce large amounts of high titer virus stocks or store large amounts of viral supernatant.

You supply

  • Sequence verified lenti- or retroviral expression constructs (entry clones in combination shuttle service) in midipräp quality (10µg/ transduction)
  • Cell line to be transduced together with a bottle of complete medium.
