Born and raised in Tahiti, French Polynesia, I first started my undergraduate studies in Computer Science at EPFL (Switzerland), before realizing my preference for biology. I did my bachelor's in Biology (2019) and my master's in Cell and Molecular Signaling (2021) at the University of Franche-Comté, France. During my internships, I worked on the epigenetic regulation of autophagy and optimized a SALL4 ChIP (chromatin immunoprecipitation) protocol. I joined the Odom laboratory in January 2023 to study the X-chromosome inactivation escape upon immune stimulation. During my free time, I like walking around and cooking.
