Dr. Doreen Heckmann-Nötzel studied biology and obtained her PhD in translational oncology at Heidelberg University. After gaining comprehensive experince in benchwork and preclinical studies as a postdoc she decided to switch into the field of clinically applied and patient-oriented research as a scientific manager within the division of Intelligent Medical Systems and coordinator of the NCT Data Science Seminar.
Since her childhood she is addicted to acrobatic gymnastics, leads a club department, organizes competitions and holds an international judging brevet by FIG.
