Berit Pauls
Ph.D Student
Berit Pauls completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Medical Informatics at Heilbronn University and Heidelberg University (2019-2022, 2022-2024). In her Master's studies, she focused on data science and wrote her Master's thesis in IMSY. The thesis topic was the application of machine learning to predict clinical events based on patient histories. Since November 2024 she is now a Ph.D. student in the division.
Besides her academic activities, Berit enjoys solving Sudoku puzzles and managed to become the first German Youth Sudoku Champion in 2015. In addition, in her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, traveling and doing sports (trampoline, skiing, tennis).
