Our benefits: An innovative, exciting working environment in cutting-edge research is not all we have to offer.
You decide whether your vacation will be as exciting as your work with us. We provide the right framework conditions: 30 days of vacation per year and additional time off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. You can also take flexitime days.
With us, you will receive a salary in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). If that doesn't tell you much, just take a look at the salary tables. You will also receive a company pension with the VBL and capital-forming benefits.
We have a flexible working time model and mobile working is generally possible for up to 40% of working hours within Germany for many of our positions. This makes it easy to reconcile work and private life.
We offer you a family-friendly working environment and support you in reconciling care and work as well as pregnancy and parental leave. The DKFZ was successfully awarded the "Career and Family" audit certificate for this.
Our goal of "Research for a life without cancer" is also a focal point of our occupational health management for our employees. An important component of "DKFZ active!" is our cancer prevention and early detection program for our employees. We also offer programs on mental health, exercise, relaxation, smoking cessation and nutrition.
Many offers are available throughout the center and online, some on-site at our largest location in Heidelberg, such as discounted tickets for Heidelberg's outdoor swimming pools or use of the sports facilities at Heidelberg University and Heidelberg University Hospital.
Our company health management flyer gives you an initial insight into our wide range of offers.
We subsidize the maximum amount of the Germany Job Ticket at all locations. This allows you to travel to work particularly cheaply and sustainably and also gives you private mobility throughout Germany.
