International Postdoc Program
The DKFZ’s International Postdoc Program attracts and supports approximately 400 postdoctoral researchers. The centrally organized international postdoctoral fellowship award program selects seven highly talented fellows annually for competitive funding to support their first two years of research at DKFZ in Heidelberg.
Postdoc Networks beyond DKFZ
Networking postdocs across research centers of the Helmholtz Association. The aim is to provide representation and advocacy for the interests of postdoc researchers, while facilitating communication amongst the diverse Helmholtz postdoc body. More information can be found here.
The GPN aims to create a network for postdocs across all types of research-performing institutions in Germany. The network will serve as a focal point to create a community of postdocs across all disciplines and institutions, gather sustainable data on postdocs and their needs, coordinate working groups to advance key issues affecting postdocs, engage with stakeholders to address the challenges they face, and offer an independent platform to design and implement innovative models for recruitment, training, and career transitions in collaboration with research institutions and industry/public partners.
