Thuy Nuong Tran is a PhD student at IMSY with focus on deep learning-based video analysis for colon capsule endoscopy. Furthermore, she is also involved in a project for cervical cancer screening and is responsible for the development of algorithms for lesion detection in colposcopy. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in Lübeck, followed by a Master's in Computer Science from Heidelberg University.
Within the division, she is enthusiastic about helping to organize social events such as Brückenfest, Christmas parties or retreats.
In her freetime, she enjoys sketching caricatures, singing on the old bridge during rain, or trying to polish her rusty language skills.
