Christoph Bender earned a MSc degree in physics from the Heidelberg University, where his master's thesis delved into biases of machine learning algorithms for photoacoustic image analysis. Currently pursuing a PhD, his research continues to investigate biases in photoacoustic and hyperspectral image analysis while also addressing the validation of image reconstruction and synthesis methods. In his free time, he enjoys the thrill of bouldering and climbing, engages in challenging chess matches and board games, and finds joy in immersing himself in movie soundtracks.
