I studied medicine at Heidelberg University, supported by a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, with additional stays at MD Anderson in Houston and Cambridge University. My experimental thesis was conducted at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, backed by a scholarship from the German Research Foundation (DFG).
My scientific interests include T cell immunology, bioinformatics, cancer immunology, innovative therapies in hematological malignancies, and multiple myeloma, for which I am also a recipient of the IMS Young Investigator Award.
On a personal note, I enjoy refurbishing old bikes, biking, sports, and have recently taken up painting.
