About Francesca
Francesca grew up and did her undergraduate studies in Italy.
Afterwards, she was awarded a Leonardo scholarship for a project that she carried out at the University of Bern in Switzerland, where she also obtained her PhD in epigenetics. She then moved to Heidelberg, where she worked for three years as laboratory manager at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, after which she joined Gonçalves and Odom’s labs.
In her free time she likes painting and solving puzzles, and as a good Italian she can be very loud!
