Perrine obtained her bachelor's in Biology (2017) and then her master's in Genomics, Systems Biology and Bioinformatics (2020) from Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, France. During her master's, she transitioned from wet lab to computational biology and joined a few math classes. During her internships, she worked on different aspects of gene regulation and development, from glucocorticoid transcriptional control in cell lines to color patterns in emus.
Her PhD project is shared between the Odom and Gonçalves labs and focuses on the impacts of ageing and hormonal stimulations on female reproductive organs, using single-cell and spatial transcriptomics approaches.
Perrine likes DIY activities, like knitting or building cardboard furniture, as well as playing board or video games and baking.
