Yu-Le Wu, PhD
Yu-Le received his doctoral degree from Heidelberg University as a predoctoral fellow at EMBL. He is interested in developing and applying computational approaches to understanding how biological processes work in cells and tissue. During his PhD study within the Ries group at EMBL, he developed a computational tool that can extract geometric parameters from biological structures resolved at the nanoscale. Within the Hartmann group, Yu-Le now wants to 'zoom out' to look into how the subcellular organization responds and even reshapes the tissue microenvironment. Outside the lab, he is into coffee, cooking, singing, and traveling.
