Miray obtained her Master's degree in Cancer Biology from Heidelberg University and DKFZ. After graduating, she spent two years at BioMed X, where she contributed towards developing a new and robust platform to identify neo-antigens targeted by T-cells in autoimmune responses. In November 2021, she joined the lab as a PhD student, where her research focuses on unraveling the metabolic alterations in immune cells within the tumor microenvironment across different types of cancer.
