Prof. Dr. Connie Hoe
The mission of this division is to accelerate the uptake of evidence into policy and practice in the field of cancer prevention. Through cutting-edge research and transdisciplinary collaborations, the division strives to improve public health outcomes by ensuring that evidence-based interventions are effectively delivered to all populations.

Prof. Dr. Connie Hoe has held the position of Division Head for Policy and Implementation Research for Cancer Prevention since July 01, 2024. The mission of this new division is to accelerate the uptake of evidence into policy and practice in the field of cancer prevention. Through cutting-edge research and transdisciplinary collaborations, the division strives to improve public health outcomes by ensuring that evidence-based interventions are effectively delivered to all populations.
The work of this Division will be guided by implementation science and health policy theories, frameworks, and models, and will have a strong emphasis on addressing health equity and disparities. We will utilize both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including participatory approaches (e.g. citizen science), geospatial analysis and advance data science techniques to tackle the complex challenges associated with the adoption and implementation of cancer prevention policies and interventions.
