Gholamhossein Movahedian is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Manager at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. He has previously held a variety of roles, including Diversity Manager, Advisor on Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Racism, in the fields of democracy promotion and gender equality, as well as Lecturer on Migration Ethics.
His responsibilities include developing, implementing, and coordinating initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as creating and executing a comprehensive DEI strategy.
Social justice, promoting equal opportunities, strengthening the participation of marginalized communities, inclusion, and the intersectional integration of these topics are not only professional values for him but also ethical convictions.
