The Finance and Accounting department is reponsible for:
- Financial accounting, which in addition to creating the annual reports for creditory and debitory accounting processes, is responsible for general ledger entries, monetary transactions, and fixed assets.
- Fund management, which covers topics such as financial management, tax affairs, distribution of funds, subsidy accounting, financial statistics, allocation of funds to third parties, special funds, and proof of payment
- Cost accounting, results accounts, and budgeting. This includes cost and revenue statements, calculation, internal allocation, economic appraisal, invoicing, process management and DV organization within the Finance and Accounting department
The Finance and Accounting department provides the relevant numbers and information for the executive board, the research departments, the committees and for all institutions authorized to perform inspections and audits.
