Katrin Eike-Verfürth is the assistant to Professor Michael Schlander and to the Division of Health Economics concerning all administrative and organizational matters.

Before joining the Division of Health Economics, Katrin was assistant to the Nobel laureate Professor Harald zur Hausen.

She has been employed by the DKFZ since 2010 with a break from 2014 to 2016 when she worked for the Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW) in Mannheim as assistant to the press spokesman. As a professional translator with a diploma in French, English and German, Katrin has also worked as a freelance translator.
