Valeriia joined the Feldmann lab as a Bioinformatics Master student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine, to learn more about genome organization during her master thesis. Having stayed for her PhD, she is now studying the role of enhancer-promoter interactions in gene activation. In her free time she likes traveling, playing kalimba and photography.
