Sonja studied biological chemistry at the University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim as one of the last diploma engineers. During her time in the pharmaceutical industry she gained experience in a variety of molecular biological methods and cell culture techniques. Since July 2022 she is working as a technician in the Junior Research Group Mechanisms of Genome Control.
