I am broadly interested in episodic and spatial memory and navigation. My research explores how alcohol affects spatial (internal representations of the external environment) and temporal (sequential firing of neuronal populations) dynamics within and between key brain regions, including the hippocampus, medial entorhinal cortex, and medial septum. I address these questions using in vivo electrophysiological recordings in behaving mice.
