Ann-Kristin studied Biosciences in Münster and did her PhD on monogenic causes and molecular pathomechanisms of male infertility at the Institute of Reproductive Genetics at the Centre of Medical Genetics in Münster. Since November 2024 she is working on the molecular mechanisms underlying the function of transient distal regulatory elements with a Dr. Rurainski Fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, dancing, basketball, cooking and trying out all the cafés in and around Heidelberg.
