Dissolution of the bequest by the DKFZ and rapid transfer of the proceeds to cancer research without incurring unnecessary costs for third parties
As a charitable foundation under public law, the German Cancer Research Center is exempt from inheritance and gift tax. This means that the DKFZ does not have to pay any taxes to the state in the event of inheritance
