Your dual study program in computer science at the DKFZ
As a Bachelor's student in Computer Science, you will be involved in complex and application-oriented IT projects. You will program databases for our scientists and develop a wide variety of software programs so that experiments can be implemented, measured and documented. You will design models to control processes and then map them in hardware or software. You will also solve problems at the interface between computer systems and technical applications.
- Your dual study program lasts six semesters. It begins on September 1 and starts with an introductory week. The course alternates regularly between lectures at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Karlsruhe (DHBW) and several practical phases at the DKFZ.
- During the practical phases, you will work on various projects in the IT department.
- General higher education entrance qualification
- Good knowledge of German, at least level C1
- Good to very good grades (especially math)
- Computer science skills are an advantage
