How to update your profile

DKFZ Connect is meant to be your network also to follow up after DKFZ. Therefor we kindly ask you to keep your profile up to date as well as to update your email address to a personal email address to ensure that you can still log in at a later point independently of your @dkfz email.
Mentoring on DKFZ Connect
DKFZ Connect also contains a mentoring feature: there are many different options for Alumni to offer mentoring like e.g. a 10-minute mentoring meeting (phone call/coffee) or tandem mentoring which involves meeting a mentee 3-4 times a year. Alumni willing to help can also receive a “how to mentor” briefing and training.

What happens if I log in via LinkedIn?
DKFZ Connect will automatically recognize your email address for login, and after registration your two most recent positions will automatically be added to your profile. You can “sync” at any time and thus you only need to update your professional information once.
If I did a short Postdoc after my PhD at DKFZ, which position should I enter when registering?
In any case, add your main position (in this case your PhD). If you want you can add extra positions at DKFZ, but you can also do this at any stage later on.
Can I delete my account?
Of course you can delete your account at any time without giving a reason. Therefore please go to your account settings, choose "Delete account" and your account will be permanently deleted.
