In addition, the „General Terms and Conditions for the execution of research and development orders in the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (German Cancer Research Center) Heidelberg“ apply to the services provided by the Core Facilities to external users.

Processing of Personal Data

Any request to process personal materials and data may only be submitted to and executed by the Core Facilities for Genomics & Proteomics if a „Meldung einer Verarbeitungstätigkeit“ has been registered and approved by the Data Protection Officer. The „Meldung einer Verarbeitungstätigkeit“ is part of the general DKFZ Data Protection Concept („Rahmendatenschutzkonzept“) which is intended to ensure the privacy and IT security of personal data in cancer research at DKFZ.

The Core Facilities, together with ITCF and the Data Protection officer have made out a template for the „Meldungen einer Verarbeitungstätigkeit“ that may be used to register your own studies.
